What this covers
Electronics troubleshooting, hardware diagnostics, repair projects, and component, board and soldering work where appropriate.
Not everything with a circuit board in it is a computer or a phone. Electronics bench work covers the rest: equipment and hardware that has stopped working and is worth the time to diagnose properly.
That means electronics troubleshooting and hardware diagnostics first, then repair work on the bench. Where it is appropriate, that extends to component, board and soldering work rather than swapping whole units.
Repair projects are welcome. If something is unusual, awkward, or has already been written off elsewhere, it is worth asking about.
