Privacy Policy for MosServe FTP Pro

Effective date: July 14, 2026
Last updated: July 14, 2026

MosServe FTP Pro is developed and published by Mosfetti Electronics and Repair, referred to in this Privacy Policy as “Mosfetti,” “we,” “us,” or “our.”

This Privacy Policy explains how MosServe FTP Pro accesses, processes, stores, and protects information when you use the application.

1. Overview

MosServe FTP Pro turns a compatible Android device into a user-controlled FTP or explicit-FTPS server. It allows the user to access and transfer files between the Android device and authorized FTP client software.

MosServe FTP Pro does not require a Mosfetti account and does not require users to submit personal information to Mosfetti in order to use the application.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

Mosfetti does not use MosServe FTP Pro to collect or receive:

Names, addresses, telephone numbers, or email addresses
Precise location information
Contacts
Photos, videos, documents, or other files
FTP usernames or FTP passwords
Advertising identifiers
Payment-card information
Browsing history
Analytics or behavioral tracking data

MosServe FTP Pro does not contain third-party advertising and does not use advertising networks.

MosServe FTP Pro does not use analytics services to track users across applications or websites.

3. Information Processed Locally on the Device

To provide its intended functionality, MosServe FTP Pro processes certain information locally on the user’s Android device. This may include:

FTP and FTPS server settings
FTP usernames and passwords created by the user
Server port settings
Selected root folders
Read and write permissions
Excluded folders or paths
Trusted-client or network access settings
Saved server configurations
Local network addresses and connection information
Server activity and connection history
A locally generated FTPS certificate and private key

This information is used to operate the FTP or FTPS server and is not transmitted to Mosfetti.

4. File and Storage Access

MosServe FTP Pro requires access to Android-accessible shared storage so that it can perform the file-server functions requested by the user.

Depending on the permissions granted and the root folder selected by the user, the application may be able to:

Display files and folders
Upload files
Download files
Create folders
Rename files or folders
Move files
Delete files or folders
Resume interrupted transfers

MosServe FTP Pro accesses files only to perform actions requested through the application or through an FTP client connected to the server.

Mosfetti does not receive, upload, store, inspect, or retain the user’s files.

Android may prevent access to certain protected application folders or system-controlled locations, even when broad storage access has been granted.

5. FTP and FTPS Connections

Files and connection information may travel between the Android device and an FTP client chosen by the user.

These transfers occur directly between the user’s Android device and the connecting client. Mosfetti does not act as an intermediary and does not receive copies of transferred files.

Plain FTP does not encrypt login credentials or transferred data. Users should use plain FTP only on networks they trust.

Explicit FTPS provides encrypted communication using a certificate generated locally by MosServe FTP Pro. Because the certificate is self-signed, FTP client software may ask the user to review or trust the certificate when connecting for the first time.

Users are responsible for:

Creating strong FTP passwords
Limiting server access to trusted users and devices
Choosing appropriate file permissions
Using FTPS when encryption is needed
Stopping the server when it is not in use
Protecting the Android device and local network
6. Network Information and Activity History

MosServe FTP Pro may process network information necessary to operate the server, including the Android device’s local network address and information associated with connecting FTP clients.

Connection attempts and server activity may appear in the application’s locally stored activity history. This information is used for server administration, troubleshooting, and security awareness.

Activity history is stored locally on the Android device and is not automatically transmitted to Mosfetti.

7. Data Sharing

Mosfetti does not sell, rent, trade, or share personal information collected through MosServe FTP Pro because the application does not transmit such information to Mosfetti.

When a user intentionally permits another device or person to connect to the FTP server, files and related connection data may be shared with that authorized FTP client. This is a user-directed transfer controlled by the server settings and credentials selected by the user.

8. Data Retention and Deletion

Application settings, saved configurations, certificates, and activity information remain locally on the Android device until they are removed by the user or by the Android operating system.

Users may remove locally stored application data by:

Deleting or changing settings within the application where available
Clearing MosServe FTP Pro’s storage through Android system settings
Uninstalling MosServe FTP Pro

Uninstalling the application or clearing its application data may remove locally stored settings, saved configurations, certificates, and activity history.

Files stored in shared storage are not necessarily deleted when the application is uninstalled. Users must separately manage or delete those files through Android or another file-management application.

Because MosServe FTP Pro does not create Mosfetti user accounts or upload user information to Mosfetti servers, there is no remote Mosfetti account or cloud-stored app data to delete.

9. Security

MosServe FTP Pro includes controls intended to help users protect their server, including authentication, configurable access permissions, optional FTPS encryption, folder exclusions, trusted-client controls, and server activity information.

However, no device, network, or file-transfer system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Users should keep their Android device updated, use strong credentials, avoid exposing the server directly to untrusted networks, and review their server configuration before starting the service.

Mosfetti is not responsible for access caused by weak passwords, insecure network configurations, intentionally shared credentials, use of unencrypted FTP, or user-selected permissions.

10. Third-Party Services

MosServe FTP Pro may be downloaded and purchased through Google Play. Google may independently process purchase, installation, diagnostic, or account information under Google’s own privacy policies and terms.

That information is controlled by Google and is not governed solely by this MosServe FTP Pro Privacy Policy.

FTP client applications used to connect to MosServe FTP Pro are also operated independently. Users should review the privacy and security practices of any FTP client they choose to use.

11. Children’s Privacy

MosServe FTP Pro is a general-purpose technical utility and is not designed or directed specifically toward children under the age of 13.

Mosfetti does not knowingly collect personal information from children through MosServe FTP Pro.

12. International Users

MosServe FTP Pro processes its application settings and server activity locally on the user’s device. Direct FTP or FTPS transfers occur between the user’s device and the FTP client selected by the user.

Users are responsible for ensuring that their use of the application complies with laws and regulations applicable in their country or region.

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the application’s functionality, legal requirements, or privacy practices change.

Any revised policy will be published on Mosfetti.com with an updated “Last updated” date.

Continued use of MosServe FTP Pro after a policy update constitutes acknowledgment of the revised policy.
